West Ridge Academy Relocation Project Wins "Adaptive Re-Use" Award

West Ridge Academy Relocation Project Wins

We are excited to share that one of our past clients, West Ridge Academy, was selected by The Greeley Planning Commission to receive a Community Excellence in Design Award for Adaptive Re-Use.  West Ridge academy is one of six award winners, all of which were selected by a panel of community judges.  Each award recognizes a construction project created during 2017 and 2018 that demonstrated "exceptional design elements".

DCS is proud to have worked as the Owners Representative for West Ridge Academy during this project.  Elements of the project included acquiring, renovating and relocating West Ridge Academy to a portion of vacant Hewlett Packard (HP) facilities. Through the hard work of everyone on the design, construction, and school teams, West Ridge Academy was able to successfully relocate to this new location in Summer, 2017. The space was adapted and transformed into a school environment that fulfilled the school's vision of "preparing each student with an exemplary educational experience, allowing each child to meet his or her highest academic and character potential".
